SAIL Databank is celebrating 10 years supporting research communities to access, link and analyse routinely collected population and health data within a safe and secure remote access environment.
Policies & Information
Funded by Health and Care Research Wales, SAIL is based within the Medical School, Swansea University. SAIL’s work is supported by active partnerships with NHS and Welsh Government information agencies.
What is a TRE?
Our partners Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) have done extensive work to develop and advocate the use of TRE’s. HDR UK say that ‘TREs help make research efficient, collaborative and cost effective.
